SKG Industries is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing diesel-powered machinery and vehicles, both on-site and in the workshop.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for:

Servicing, maintaining, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and machinery

Diagnosing faults and performing breakdown repairs
-
Conducting on-site and workshop-based repairs
-
Replacing and rebuilding engines, gearboxes, and related components when required
-
Ensuring all machinery complies with safety and operational standards
-
Keeping accurate service, maintenance, and repair records
-
Performing preventative maintenance and routine inspections
✅ Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Trade Test qualification as a Diesel Mechanic (preferred)

Proven experience working with heavy equipment and trucks
-
Strong fault-finding and mechanical repair skills
-
Ability to work under pressure and respond to breakdowns efficiently

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Email, and Outlook)
